Patrick R. Anderson, 61, of Highland, WI, passed away unexpectedly at UW Madison Hospital from a stroke on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Pat was born in LaCrosse, WI, to Francis and Jean (Reynolds) Anderson on October 3, 1957. Pat wore many hats throughout his life. He worked in the logging industry in the state of Washington, drove semi-trucks, but his main profession was as a skilled welder. Pat will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and especially his older brother Jim. They would hunt and fish together along the Wisconsin River area. Pat was quite the storyteller when he acted out many of the characters that made him the life of the party. He was quite generous when asked to help. Whether it was house sitting, caring for your animals while you were away, or just helping with home projects, family and friends could always count on Pat’s help. Pat is survived by three children, Jamie Anderson, Patrick or PJ (Chrystal) Moldenhauer, Chad Anderson, his grandchildren, stepfather David (Ruth Ann) Anderson, brothers James (Judy) Reynolds, Francis (Judy) Anderson, sisters Kathleen (Calvin) Wilcox, Rebecca Brodell, Valerie Neuman, sister-in-law Jeanne Reynolds, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, brother Michael Reynolds (April 20, 2019), brothers-in-law Scott Brodell and Scott Neuman. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at his sister’s home located at 1352 County Road S, Rubicon, Wisconsin.
