Mary (Belling) Friedemann found eternal peace at Majestic Heights on April 8, 2019. She was born on January 26, 1934, to Elsa Henrietta (Vergenz) and Merrill George Belling. She met Don at Dodge County Teacher College, where she earned her teaching degree. She and Don were married on April 14, 1956, and God blessed them with four sons: Peter, Paul, Timothy and Thomas. Mary was an amazing wife, mother, role model and friend. She and Don were actively involved in St. John’s UCC activities, Schauer Arts Center, Community Choir and oodles of family activities. Both also enjoyed collecting and selling antiques, Heisey glass and Christmas items. Mary was a voracious reader, crossword puzzler and lover of animals. Mary is survived by her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: • Linda Friedemann of Texas, mother of Christian (Kristin) Friedemann & Collin (Liz) Friedemann; • Paul (Tracy) Friedemann of Hartford, daughter-in-law, Jane Meyer, Matthew (Meghan) Friedemann, Mitchell (Chelsea) Friedemann, Jake (Megan) Cox & Kaylin Cox; • Tim (Nancy) Friedemann of California, Robin (John) Bruner, Daniel (Crystal) Dubey, Ben Friedemann, Samantha Walters, great-grandchildren Morgan & Molly Bruner, Shane Friedemann & Zoe Dubey; • Tom (Trisha) Friedemann of Slinger, Alex, Samuel and Jack Friedemann, Theresa (Johannes) Schindelin, David (Anna) Koenig, Mark Koenig, Stephanie Koenig, and great-grandchildren; Julian Schindelin, Michael Koenig and Grace Koenig; Mary is survived by many extended family members and friends. One special friend who always stuck by her side was Maureen Mitchell. Mary was preceded in death by Don, son Pete, Doris (Don’s sister), and grandsons Timothy Mueller & Conner Friedemann. A private celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the Majestic Heights Assisted Living Facility for all the amazing love and care they gave to Mary. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary’s name may be made to the Washington County Humane Society or St. John’s United Church of Christ of Hartford.
